Limbo. I course
stirring the dust of obscurity.
A footpath hesitation dance.
I see beyond the door,
at two-inch red fire engine
scouting his hallway,
the tin of heirs’ trumpets.
Wound-up are the burying beetles,
bottles to the shore. And me
pulled back, forth,
by a fickle moon.
