Eden Song

Expanse
       wayward explore
       habitual and generous
         the rains
                quench the Rainbows.

       Parched lands
       poach the life giver,
       breathe the oxygen
       burst forth;
       their buds and sweetness
       flower in varied
       lushness and ardour.

       Petals arrest
       the sight of wild beasts,
       unthinking burden
       of unblinking praise.

       The might of a caressing
       sky preens and pampers,
       birdlife twitters in holy
       voice; vibrating trills
       gentler bitterness;
       calm surrender.

       Monolith,
       the tree
       its arch does
       beckon and herald:
       the trumpet shapes
       and sounds
       of noisy flowers.
