Fashion is what people are, fashion is
how people shout, dance
and strut about

fashion is what people wear (and fear)
how people dine and wine
how do they spend their dime and time
fashion is charity, climbing up society
fashion is cool as cucumbers
honey, olive oil and money
that are a jump ahead on your neighbors
who are not fashionable instead!

fashion is jealousy, being rejected in poetry contests
(for not being ‘politically correct’)
as part of a larger conspiracy!!
fashion is to be booed on campus
for studying BA and not CA or even MBA
fashion is to fall in and out of love

fashion is to write ‘luv’
fashion is to send you an e-mail
when I can very well talk to you, and
fashion is to write poetry when
old-fashioned prose will do!!!
